      GLD信息识别笔Xiao Q（以下简称识别笔）是采用我公司专利技术生产的信息识读设备，配合信息图标来使用，您只要用识别笔在信息图标上轻轻一点，各种日常用品就可以“开口说话”，各种信息“一听了然”。识别笔采用先进的光学摄拍装置，读取信息图标上的信息编码图形，经高速解码和自动识别，以声音形式将信息图标所代表的内容表述出来，达到信息识别的目的。每个信息图标所标记的语音信息可以随意录制，可以无限次地重复修改。信息图标可以印刷在各种承印物上，也可以将印刷好的信息图标贴在食品、药品外包装，服装鞋帽、电器、厨具、书籍等各种物品表面。

      GLD information Pen Reader-Xiao Q (Pen Reader in short) is our latest patent based product, dedicated to read the information previously encoded on the icon. Just with a simply point the pen at the icon pasted on the commodity, you can clearly hear all the key information, and let the commodity “talk”. This pen reader incorporate high speed camera, by which the information encoded on the icon can be read in Real Voice through high speed decoding and automatic recognition processor inside. What’s more, you can make customized voice or revise it any time as you wish, so that you could paste the customized information Icon onto any commodities, such as package of food or medicine, surface of clothes, shoes or caps, home electronic appliance, kitchen appliance or books etc.

      GLD pen reader is characterized as fast speed and high accuracy of information recognition, easy-to-use with high stability and high security, portable with long operational life span. It has inner battery which supports stand alone use, as well as USB connection (for normal use or recharge).       三、使用方法

      How to operate

      1、使用前的准备

      Preparation Beforehand

      1）使用前请确认Micro SD 存储卡已经插好。

      Please make sure the Micro SD card inserted well before use

      2）首次使用本识别笔时，请用本公司配置的电源适配器或用配送的USB电源连接线接驳计算机USB端口给识别笔充电。

      Please use the attached power supply adapter or USB connector to recharge the pen reader when first use

      a、将电源连接线USB插头一端插入电源适配器（220V～）的USB插座内，再将电源适配器插入交流市电插座，（或将电源连接线USB插头一端与启动的计算机USB口连接），并把电源连接线另一端MiniUSB插头插入识别笔USB插口（I）内；

      Plug the USB connector into the Power Supply Adapter, then plug the adapter into (220V~) AC power outlet (or connect the USB connector with a computer), then plug the Mini-USB head of the connector into the Pen Reader (I)

      b、此时识别笔将接通电源，双色电源/充电指示灯(C) 红色、黄色同时亮起，语音提示“打开电源”，充电时间约为3小时，如果充电期间识别笔一直在工作，电量充满后双色电源/充电指示灯(C)的红色充电指示灯自动熄灭，语音提示“充电完毕”，黄色电源指示灯继续点亮；如果充电期间识别笔超过3分钟不工作或进行了长按电源开关/录音键（H）的关机操作时，识别笔语音提示“切断电源”并关机，双色电源/充电指示灯(C) 的黄色电源指示灯自动熄灭，红色充电指示灯继续点亮，电量充满后红色充电指示灯自动熄灭，表示充电结束。此时，拔掉电源连接线插头，并断开电源适配器电源，将重启键（M）置于靠近挂绳孔的一侧，识别笔使用内部锂电池工作，可正常工作约8小时。

      Once the Pen Reader is powered on, the dual color signal light of power supply / Recharge (C) show both in red and yellow, with the voice “Power on” as the same time. It will take about 3 hours to charge the battery. After that, the red signal will be off and if the pen reader is in its working status, then the voice “Charging completed” sounds, and the yellow signal will keep lightening. During the charging, if the pen reader is out of work over 3 minutes then the voice “power off” sounds, then the yellow signal will be off and the red one will keep lightening until the battery charging completed. Then plug out the connector and power supply adapter. Put the reset button close to the sling hole. Now you can use the pen reader with the inner battery, which will support the normal off-line use over 8 hours.

      2、操作步骤

      Steps of Operation

      识别笔需要配合信息图标来使用，操作分为开机、取信息图标、录音（给信息图标定制声音）、粘贴信息图标、读取信息图标、关机六个步骤。

      Use your pen reader together with the information icon. The normal operation process includes six steps, namely Power on, select information Icon, record (customize) the voice, paste the information icon, read the information icon and power off.

      A．开机

      Power on

      a.当重启键（M）位于靠近挂绳孔的一侧时，识别笔使用内部锂电池工作。

      When the reset button is closed to the sling side, the pen reader works with inner Li-ion battery

      持续按电源开关/录音键（H）2～3秒后识别笔开机，此时双色电源/充电指示灯(C)黄色电源指示灯亮起，语音提示“打开电源”，同时蓝色工作状态指示灯（D）亮起并闪烁，识别笔进入正常待机工作状态。还可以使用重启键（M）开机。

      Continuously press the power on/off/Record (H) button for about 2~3 seconds, the dual signal light of power/recharge (C) shows yellow, then the voice sounds “Power on”, with working status signal light(D) shows blue and twinkles at the same time, the pen reader is ready to work. You can also use Reset button (M) to start the system.

      将重启键（M）拨动到远离挂绳孔的一侧，等待5秒钟再拨回到靠近挂绳孔的一侧后识别笔开机，此时双色电源/充电指示灯(C)黄色电源指示灯亮起，语音提示“打开电源”，同时蓝色工作状态指示灯（D）亮起并闪烁，识别笔进入正常待机工作状态；再将重启键（M）拨动到远离挂绳孔的一侧，识别笔关机。

      When you put the reset button (M) to the far end from sling side, and pull back after 5 seconds, then above procedure repeat. Put the Reset button (M) again to the far end, the pen reader power off.

      b.当重启键（M）位于靠近挂绳孔的一侧时，识别笔使用电源适配器或连接电脑USB端口供电工作（或充电），此时不能使用内置锂电池工作。

      When the reset button is close to the sling side, the pen reader works through connecting with the power adapter or with computer (or for recharging) , and the inner battery does not work.

      将电源连接线USB插头一端插入电源适配器（220V～）的USB插座内，再将电源适配器插入交流市电插座，（或将电源连接线USB插头一端与启动的计算机USB口连接），并把电源连接线另一端的MiniUSB插头插入识别笔USB插孔（I）内，识别笔自动开机并充电，此时双色电源/充电指示灯(C) 红色、黄色同时亮起，语音提示“打开电源”，同时蓝色工作状态指示灯（D）亮起并闪烁，识别笔进入正常待机工作状态。

      Plug the USB connector into the Power Supply adapter (220V~), then connect the adapter with AC outlet (or put the connector with computer), and then plug the Mini-USB into the Pen Reader (I), it will automatically power on and recharge. The dual signal light of power supply/Recharge (C) show both red and yellow. The voice sounds “Power on”, with working status signal light(D) shows blue and twinkles at the same time, the pen reader starts to work.

      B．取信息图标

      Select an information Icon

      拿取一枚信息图标。

      Fetch an information icon.

      C．录音（给信息图标定制声音）

      Record (Customized the information icon with) voice

      录音是指把想用该枚信息图标表示的语音信息存入识别笔，该语音是自定义的和任意的。

      Record means you can customize the information icon with your own voice and save it into your pen reader at any time as your wish.

      a.打开识别笔电源并听到语音提示“打开电源”。

      Power on the Pen Reader, you will hear the voice suggests “power on”

      b.按一下电源开关/录音键（H），可听到语音提示“录音”

      Press the Power on/off/Record (H), you will hear the voice suggests “Record”

      c.点取图标：手握住识别笔，将摄拍镜头（B）垂直靠近已拿取到的信息图标处，笔与信息图标的距离为0～3mm，夹角不小于60°，最好是垂直，此时如果信息图标正常有效，则识别笔发出一长两短的“嘟”声，此时就可以对着识别笔录音了；如果信息图标无效，识别笔会发出一长声警报音。

      Point at the Icon. Hold the Pen Reader, point the camera(B) vertically closed to the selected icon, when closed enough(say 0~3mm with angle no less than 60°, better vertical) , if the information icon is effective then the reader will sound one long and two short signal “du”, then you can record your voice with the Pen Reader. However, if the information icon is ineffective, then the Pen Reader will sound only one long warning signal.

      d.正对识别笔讲出用来描述想标识物品的语音（例如想标识一件衬衫，可以说：“元旦新买的白色衬衫”）。

      Pose the Pen Reader close to you and record what you want to describe the stuff or commodity, i.e. if you want to mark a shirt, you can record “This is a newly bought white shirt”

      e.按一下暂停/停止录音键（F），可听到语音提示“停止录音”。

      Press pause/Stop button (F), you will hear the voice suggest “Recording Stopped”

      D．粘贴信息图标

      Paste information Icon

      将该枚录音完成的信息图标粘贴到想要标记的位置。例如想标记物品，就可以把信息图标粘贴在物品或它的外包装上。

      Paste the recorded information icon onto the place you want to mark. For example, if you want to mark a stuff, you can paste the information icon onto the external surface of the package.

      E．读取信息图标

      Read the information Icon

      找到已粘贴完毕（物品或物品外包装上）的信息图标，手握住识别笔，将摄拍镜头（B）垂直靠近信息图标处，笔与信息图标的距离为0～3mm，夹角不小于60°，最好是垂直，此时如果信息图标正常有效，则识别笔能自动识读信息图标上的加密信息，发出两声短促的“嘟”声，并播放录制好的信息图标所对应的语音信息。否则，如果识别笔发出一声刺耳的鸣叫声，说明录音没有成功，被识物的信息图标无效，这时可重复录音步骤，重新录音。如果对录制的声音不满意或要更改成其他语音也可以重复录音步骤，重新录音。  

      Find the pasted icon from the package surface of the property, hold the pen Reader, and pose the camera (B) vertically closed to the information icon. when closed enough(say 0~3mm with angle no less than 60°, better vertical) , if the information icon is effective then the reader will automatically recognize the encrypted information, and sound two short signal “du”, then play the recorded voice encoded in the icon. Otherwise, if the pen reader plays only one harsh sound, then it means that you fail to record your voice and the information icon is ineffective. Then you can repeat the recording step to record again. If you are not satisfied with the voice you recorded before or you want to change the content of voice, you can also repeat the step.

      经过以上操作步骤，使用识别笔读取已粘贴好的信息图标就可以播放出您预先录制的语音信息。

      After the above steps, you can use the pen reader to recognize the pasted information icon and play your customized voice.

      注：重复A-E的步骤来标记其他物品。

      Notice: repeat step A-E to market other stuffs.

      F．关机

      Power off

      使用完毕，按住电源开关/录音键（H）2～3秒后识别笔语音提示：“切断电源”，并自动关机。

      After the use of the pen reader, press power on/off/ Record (H) for 2~3 seconds, it will cut off the power with the sound “Power off”

      识别笔使用内部锂电池工作时，即不插电源连接线工作时，将重启键（M）拨到远离挂绳孔的一侧也可以正常关机。识别笔开机并闲置时间超过3分钟后，将语音提示：“切断电源”，并自动关机。

      When use the pen reader with the inner battery (no USB connection), you can also power off by pulling the Reset button (M) to the far end of the sling side. As long as the pen Reader is out of work for over 3 minutes, the voice will suggest “power off”.

      3、操作说明

      a.使用识别笔时，可根据使用习惯决定是否取下前盖（A），不影响使用性能。

      Whether or not to take off the front cover (A) does not affect the use of the pen reader

      b.每次识读语音信息，若要停止播放，请按下暂停/停止录音键（F）即可；若需再次识读，请按操作步骤“E、读取信息图标”操作即可，信息内容将重新播放。

      You can stop the voice playing any time by pressing the pause/stop record button (F). If you want to continue the recognition, please do according to step E , the voice will be replayed.

      c.根据使用者的需要，可调整语音播放音量的大小。若需调低音量，请按音量调键（K）；若需调高音量，请按音量调节键（J）；若不需声音外传时，可将本公司配送的耳机，插入耳机插孔（R）内，配戴使用。

      You can adjust the voice volume according to your preference. If you want to decrease the volume, press button (K), or if you want to increase the volume, press button (J). Use the attached earphone and pull it into the Hole(R) if you do not want the voice be heard by others.

      c.根据使用者的需要，可调整语音播放速度的快慢。若需调快语速，请按语速调节键（E）；若需调慢语速，请按语速调节键（G）

      You can adjust the speed of the voice. If you want to speed up, press button (E), or if you want to slow down the speed, press the button (G)

      d.在使用过程中，识别笔内锂电池电量不足时，识别笔会自动语音提示：“电池剩余不多，请充电”，充电指示灯同时发出红色闪烁并在4分钟后自动关机。

      During the use of the pen reader, if the battery is low, the pen reader will suggest “Low battery, please recharge”, the signal light of charging start to twinkle and will lead to power off in 4 minutes.

      e.在使用过程中，如因操作不当而出现死机情况时，可以打开后盖（L），将重启键（M）轻轻拨动，然后再拨回原位（靠近挂绳孔一侧），盖上笔盖，即可恢复正常使用。

      During the use of the pen reader, if system is down by mis-operation, you can open the back cover, pull reset button (M) to the other side and then pull it back, close the back cover and then it will be back to normal status.

      f.识别笔具有闲置超时自动关机功能，当识别笔开机并闲置时间超过3分钟后，将语音提示：“切断电源”，并自动关机。

      The pen Reader has the function of automatic power off if it is idled over time. When the idle time is over 3 minutes, the voice suggests “power off” and cut off the power.

      h.识别笔闲置超时自动关机后，如果正在充电，则充电过程继续，直到充满为止。

      When the power off happens after idle over time, if the pen reader is charging, then the process will continuous until fully recharged.

      四、注意事项

      Noted Attention

      1、在使用中长时间地把摄拍镜头放在信息图标处，或在一条语音信息未读完又另读取一次时，容易造成系统死机。

      Either posing the camera to information icon for too long or moving the camera too fast without finishing the previous voice playing, it may easily cause the system down.

      2、在识读材质较薄的被识物（如发票、门票等）信息图标时，请在被识物的下面衬垫一张白色不带GLD信息的硬纸板或塑料板，以保证识别的准确性。    

      In order to improve the recognition accuracy, please put a pure white paper without GLD information underlying the reading target, if the target is too thin, such as invoice or ticket.

      3、请保持摄拍镜头清洁干净，不可在充满灰尘、肮脏的场所使用或存放本产品。

      Please keep the camera clean. Avoid using and storing the pen reader in a dusty or dirty environment.

      4、长时间不使用电源适配器时，应将其从AC电源插座中拨出，以完全切断电源。

      You should cut off the connection of pen reader from AC power outlet If long time no use.

      5、请用户定期检查识别笔是否处于正常工作状态，如发现识别笔出现不良状况，请及时与我们公司取得联系。

      Please check the pen reader periodically about its work status. If any abnormal status happens, please contact us in time.

      6、未经本公司书面授权许可，用户擅自拆修的识别笔，不再享受本公司提供的免费售后服务。

      Without our formal authority, customers are not allowed to dismantle the pen reader. If thus things happen, no warranty any more.

      7、我公司随识别笔附送一定数量的信息图标，在包装盒内可以找到，如需购买更多数量的信息图标请与我公司联系。
